Prints on Paper page 1 of 3

These images are printed by hand using silkscreen processes on good quality mould-made paper or cartridge. The colours include metallic powders and are mixed by hand. Good resistance to fading.

Many of the stencils are hand cut. Some are processed photographically.

I use two numbers to limit each edition. The first indicates the total with the same combination of stencils. For example "Edition 5/11" identifies the fifth in a set of eleven prints which are obviously similar. No more can be printed.

The second number indicates the number of identical images, i.e. with the same colours, overlaps and alignments. For example "State 2/3" identifies the second of three which are identical. Again - no more can be printed.

The whole image is shown on the left with a detail on the right.

"Diptych" Edition 29/46, State unrecorded. Image size = width 62 cm x height 92.5 cm.

"Sheba and Six" Edition 30/50, State 1/1. Image size = width 68 cm x height 89.2 cm.

"Sheba Variation" Edition 10/37, State 1/1. Image size = width 65 cm x height 79.6 cm.

"Oriental Jewels" Edition 12/35 State 1/1 Image size = width 88.5 cm x height 61.5 cm
